The event : Final casting call and auditions for Spielberg's Lincoln movie

PETERSBURG - A last casting call is giving locals the chance to get a job as an extra for Steven Spielberg's high profile biopic about President Abraham Lincoln, which will be shot in Petersburg and Richmond.
"We still have hundreds of paid jobs available, especially for African-Americans," said Billy Dowd, casting director for extras.

Filming for the project - with a working title of "Office Seekers" - is expected to begin within the next couple of weeks and last until December, but the exact dates and locations remain a secret. "With the
casting wrapping up, you can tell that they will start filming soon," said Mary Nelson, communications director with the Virginia Film Office.   Click here to read full article.
